"Came in with my partner and had a Butter Chicken along with some Naan and Rice which was really good, the customer service was top notch and the restaurant was extremely quiet. The waiter that served us was very friendly and accommodating, unfortunately didn’t get his name but will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful experience."

"We chose to eat here because the reviews were so good..... Im so glad we did, the food was absolutely delicious and very generous portions, great prices and great staff. Fahim, I think thats his name.. was so friendly, polite and helpful. The large bottles 620ml bottles of Cobra were lovely amd at £5.95 a bottle cheaper than I've ever seen them in a restaurant. I took a couple of photos but doesn't do the food justice, soon as I dished up we got stuck in, no time for photos. Thank you all for such lovely food. All the best Richard & Elise"

"What a lovely, tasty meal. A real treat, so flavoursome. Poppadoms and accompaniments. King prawn starter for me - massive prawns, sheekh kebab, chilli paneer were our starters. Main was lamb shank and stuffed keema naan- had to share with the boys as so much meat, falling off the bone! King prawn saga with garlic rice, lamb jalfrezi. Absolutely beautiful Service was fantastic. Baklava and ice cream for pudding. All for ,£20 each. Oh and BYOB as well!"

"One of the best, authentic indian restaurants we have been to ! Me and my partner visited Khaya today during a holiday to Bournemouth from Oxford and it was amazing. Service was really good - especially considering there was only one guy serving. We only waited about 30 mins for food and the quality and flavours of the dishes were second to none . Lots of vegetarian options and the chicken in the balti was so succulent could be cut with a spoon and the mushroom rice was full of mushrooms. So much flavour not just heat and food wasn't greasy or oily like a lot of places. Also really good value- Oxford is basically London prices so we were pleased when we got the bill. If it wasn't so far away from where we live it would be our new favourite restaurant! Don't be put off by the odd few negative reviews- especially about wait times. Personally I prefer a bit of a wait for the food to be that exceptional. Thanks so much - wouldn't hesitate to return in the future."

"We’ve just enjoyed my third visit to Khaya Indian restaurant. We came across it on our last visit to Bournemouth. Now it’s a firm favourite each time we’re here. We really like the combination of great food, which is always freshly made. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to please. This includes changing recipes on request, such as adding chickpeas and lentils to add protein to vegan dishes. Add more than fair pricing and great decor and atmosphere into the mix, and it’s a magnificently magic combination I’m delighted to have found and recommend."

"Took 3 friends here on 4th February and we had an excellent evening. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, service was top draw and the cuisine we had was very, very good. We each had different dishes and tried a little of each and we all thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the food. I will definitely go again and would recommend the Khaya to anyone who likes tasty Indian cuisine. The only reason for knocking off a star for atmosphere is apart from one other couple, only us there so difficult to assess but as i have already stated, staff were very friendly and created a nice environment.
